Mark is a consultant with Blueshift with formal qualifications in marine science and with  experience in the fishing industry, including recent roles  in commercial fisheries across Northern Australia with Australia’s largest and first carbon neutral commercial fishing company, Austral Fisheries. Mark spent over a year working in the Northern Prawn Fishery based out of Cairns and in Austral’s Tropical Snapper Trap Fishery in Darwin. Mark has also worked with the Western Australian Department of Primary Industries (DPIRD), both as a fisheries researcher, and a technical officer within the aquaculture team. Mark has experience in a range of data collection methods, as well as project management and delivery.
