Blueshift provided technical and commercial assistance to support the Esperance Aquaculture Precinct (EAP) Project. Led by the Esperance-Tjaltjraak Native Title Aboriginal Corporation (ETNTAC), the EAP Project presented an unprecedented pathway to expand Western Australia’s south coast aquaculture industry. The precinct included a multi-species marine hatchery, a Recirculating Aquaculture System for the production of finfish, raceways for the production of seaweed, and seafood processing infrastructure. Blueshift’s contribution to the project involved the completion of six feasibility studies, including a finfish and seaweed aquaculture concept study, a precinct biosecurity plan, and licensing and  approval mapping.
