Blueshift led an assessment of the risks to fish and fisheries from solar salt projects along the West Pilbara Coast. Using a bespoke framework, this work evaluated both project-specific and cumulative impacts, considering how multiple developments interact to affect fish populations, critical habitats, and ecological processes over time. Where necessary, Blueshift also identified mitigation strategies to reduce risk. By applying a rigorous, science-based approach, this project ensured that fisheries values are effectively integrated into  environmental decision-making and site management.
